Qualification: Class 'C' Electrical Contractor License
Job Description:
- Maintain all hospital electrical systems, from basic lighting to complex medical equipment power, ensuring reliability and safety for patients, staff, and operations.
- Indoor/outdoor, diverse areas like ORs, ICUs, labs, offices, working with biomed teams and facility managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Repair: Install wiring, fixtures, panels, generators, and specialized systems; diagnose and fix faults in circuits, motors, and appliances.
- Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance on electrical systems, emergency generators, and power distribution.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to electrical codes (NEC/NABH), identify hazards, maintain logs, and ensure patient safety during work.
- Emergency Response: Swiftly respond to power outages or equipment failures to minimize downtime.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Coordination: Work with biomedical engineers, other maintenance staff, and external contractors.
