Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement of our properties. The ideal candidate will ensure that all the properties are running efficiently and safely, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, recommending and implementing effective solutions.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce equipment breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and relevant regulations.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment or systems.
• Identify and implement energy-saving and efficiency improvements.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests or system alarms.
• Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and maintenance staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in facility or industrial maintenance.
• UAE Driving license
• Strong knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing).
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications
• Knowledge of local building codes, environmental and safety regulations.
• Experience in managing maintenance budgets and spare parts inventory.

Work Environment:

• Indoor and outdoor work settings depending on tasks.
• May involve working at heights, in confined spaces, or in varying weather conditions.
