Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive
Maintenance Engineer
to join our industrial operations team. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and reliability of equipment through preventive maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and supporting new equipment installations. The position also contributes to continuous improvement and knowledge transfer among technicians. Candidates with strong technical foundations in mechanical, electrical, or automation systems are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance Management

Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans

Prepare maintenance procedures and technical manuals

Manage spare parts procurement and safety stock levels

Operate and update the maintenance system (e.g., Canias PM) for assigned production lines

Propose equipment investment opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency

Deliver training programs to technicians on equipment functionality and troubleshooting
-
Conduct condition inspections and respond to equipment failures promptly

Analyze recurring malfunctions and lead improvement initiatives

Coach technicians to enhance diagnostic and problem-solving skills
New Plant Projects

Identify and resolve abnormalities during equipment manufacturing and installation

Review required documentation for installation (e.g., punch lists, specs)

Coordinate with suppliers for technical training and knowledge transfer

Develop local support networks (parts and technical service) and assist with technician recruitment

Prepare maintenance manuals and troubleshooting guides for new machinery
Other Responsibilities

Serve as the safety coordinator within the maintenance department

Manage general maintenance tasks related to management directives
Requirements
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
Experience:
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance or a related field

Preferential consideration for candidates with experience in the automotive or automation industries
Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Language:

Proficient in English (spoken and written)

Arabic or Korean is a plus
Certifications (Preferred):

Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP
)
or equivalent
