Maintenance Engineer

• Job Summary / Scope:

This position is responsible for ensuring the effective operation, safety, and compliance of all equipment and maintenance activities across the facility. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance, environmental management system audits, and safety compliance. It involves close coordination with internal departments and external contractors to support uninterrupted operations, maintain equipment reliability, and uphold workplace safety standards. The position also ensures timely reporting to management, availability of spare parts, and proper prioritization of tasks to achieve operational efficiency and compliance with company requirements.

• TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure that equipment of any nature is all in good working condition.

2. Trained Internal Auditor for ISO: Environmental Management System.

3. Report to the management on a routine basis of the various information requested.

4. Ensure that preventative maintenance is being routinely carried out and documented by the

team.

5. Carry enough equipment/spares required in day-to-day work.

6. Assist requests from various departments if it affects their routine works.

7. Liaise with various contractors to ensure all works have been understood and executed as

per requirement of the company in the factory premises.

8. Check all equipment (material storage systems/materials for safe working) and compliance

to requirements.

9. Ensure that all staff (internal / external) observes the required safety parameters/usage of

PPE.

10. Follow a list of jobs drawn up by the team to be executed and ensure their priority is given

due importance.
