MEP ENGINEER – DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement, and manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all MEP systems.
- Lead, supervise, and train maintenance technicians and subcontractors to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems as per project specifications, local codes, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution and prevent delays.
- Ensure strict quality control and adherence to safety regulations during installation and maintenance activities.
- Supervise routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and periodic inspections of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Diagnose system issues and recommend effective corrective actions to maintain optimal performance.
- Review technical drawings, design specifications, and shop drawings for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation including inspection reports, maintenance logs, service records, and system upgrade records.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to ensure timely completion.
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment required for MEP works and ensure cost-effective utilization.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all MEP activities.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and contractors to provide updates and resolve technical issues.

- Review and verify technical drawings, design specifications, and shop drawings for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, service reports, and system upgrades.
- Monitor project timelines, anticipate challenges, and implement corrective measures to ensure timely completion.
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient and cost-effective utilization.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all MEP operations.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and contractors to provide updates and resolve technical concerns.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in MEP installation, maintenance, supervision, or project coordination.
- Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems is essential.
- Proven experience in site supervision, inspection, and ensuring technical compliance.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Valid UAE Driving License.
