Maintenance Engineer – Chemical Industry

Location: Vatva, Ahmedabad
Industry: Food Colour & Chemical Manufacturing

Job Summary

Maintain plant machinery and utilities to ensure smooth, safe, and continuous production.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive & breakdown maintenance of plant and utility equipment.
• Handle reactors, mixers, dryers, centrifuges, pumps, compressors, tray dryers, pulverizers, valves.
• Monitor boilers, chillers, air compressors, ice plant, SFD, DG sets.
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues and reduce downtime.
• Maintain records and supervise technicians.
• Support installation, commissioning & improvement work.
• Ensure safety and statutory compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial).
• 5–10 years’ experience in chemical/dyes/pigments/food-colour plants.
• Strong knowledge of equipment, utilities & safety practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
