Maintenance Engineer

Location: Lawasa Road, Uravade, Pirangut

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Machine Maintenance Engineer responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical machines and equipment used in the manufacturing facility. The role requires hands-on experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to respond to machine breakdowns promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical machines and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, control panels, motors, drives, PLC, sensors, and automation equipment.
• Diagnose issues using electrical testing tools (multimeter, megger, clamp meter, etc.).
• Ensure proper installation, calibration, and alignment of electrical components.
• Monitor machine performance and conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring problems.
• Maintain and update maintenance logs, checklists, and service reports.
• Coordinate with production, mechanical, and quality teams for smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations.
• Oversee spares inventory and raise requirements for essential components.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve machine reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/BE in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance of manufacturing/industrial machines.
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, motors, drives (VFD/Servo), PLC basics, and automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and machine manuals.
• Good understanding of safety protocols and industrial standards.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems is an added advantage.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle production urgencies.
• Time management and documentation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
