Maintenance Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines.
• Ensure minimum machine downtime and support smooth production operations.
• Perform routine inspection, troubleshooting, and repairs of mechanical / electrical systems.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and logbooks.
• Coordinate with production team during machine installation, commissioning, and trials.
• Identify recurring issues and support root cause analysis & corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and standard maintenance procedures.
• Support spare parts planning and inventory control.
• Assist senior engineers in continuous improvement and efficiency projects.

Key Skills Required

• Basic knowledge of mechanical / electrical systems
• Hands-on experience in preventive & breakdown maintenance
• Ability to read machine drawings and manuals
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work in shifts if required

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Experience in manufacturing / production machinery
• Basic knowledge of PLC / hydraulics / pneumatics
• Awareness of ISO / safety practices

Experience

2 Years (Manufacturing Industry preferred)

Education

Diploma / B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
