Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the effective operation, reliability, and safety of all equipment and systems. This role involves planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing technical issues, and implementing long-term solutions to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan. The engineer will also coordinate with contractors and internal teams to maintain operational excellence and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers when needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.
• Prepare technical reports and maintenance documentation.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in maintenance or facility engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance planning software.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
