JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer responsible for overall plant maintenance activities, including utilities, safety systems, and machinery upkeep. The candidate will ensure smooth operation of plant facilities, compliance with safety standards, and coordination of AMC activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for entire plant maintenance, including:
• Tube lights, electrical fittings, and general utilities
• Water filters, water lines, and basic plumbing works
• Ensure safety systems are functional and maintained:
• Fire extinguishers (inspection, refilling, and record maintenance)
• Emergency exits, safety signage, and PPE availability
• Manage and monitor machinery AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts):
• Coordination with AMC vendors
• Scheduling preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Maintaining AMC records and compliance
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery
• Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and statutory records
• Ensure compliance with plant safety norms and statutory requirements
• Coordinate with production and admin teams for maintenance support
• Identify maintenance improvements to reduce breakdowns and costs

Qualifications:

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering
• 2–3 years of experience in plant maintenance
• Knowledge of industrial machinery, utilities, and safety systems
• Experience in handling AMC vendors
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems preferred

Skills Required:

• Troubleshooting and maintenance skills
• Vendor coordination and documentation
• Knowledge of safety and fire-fighting systems
• Good communication and teamwork

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
