Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Operations

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and/or instrumentation systems as applicable.
• Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure timely restoration of equipment to minimize production downtime.

Planning & Preventive Maintenance

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules in line with OEM recommendations.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and history in CMMS or manual logs.
• Plan and execute shutdown and overhaul activities.

Utilities & Facility Maintenance

• Maintain utilities such as power supply systems, compressors, boilers, HVAC, water treatment, and plant infrastructure.
• Monitor utility consumption and suggest improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards.
• Follow statutory requirements, permits, and inspection norms.
• Support audits related to ISO, safety, and quality systems.

Team Coordination & Supervision

• Supervise technicians, contractors, and service providers.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and stores departments for maintenance activities and spares management.
• Train operators and technicians on basic equipment care and safety practices.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for equipment reliability improvement and cost optimization.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA), TPM, and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Recommend upgrades or modifications to improve safety and performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
