Maintenance Engineer

Job Purpose:

BBETTER Monksays Superfoods is dedicated to producing high-quality nutritional and wellness natural products. As we launch our new manufacturing factory, we are looking for a committed Maintenance Engineer to ensure smooth production operations and uphold our quality standards. To ensure efficient operation, maintenance, and qualification of plant utilities, equipment, and engineering systems in compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain utility systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, etc.) to meet standards.
• Support qualification and validation of utilities and equipment.
• Coordinate equipment commissioning with proper documentation.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance with accurate records.
• Maintain SOPs, checklists, and compliance documents.
• Promote safety, continuous improvement, and support audits.
• Execute and support qualification activities (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ) for utilities and equipment, including protocol preparation, validation, and re-qualification as required.
• Participate in equipment commissioning by coordinating installations, conducting FAT/SAT, and ensuring proper documentation and SOPs for handover.
• Plan and perform preventive and breakdown maintenance, minimizing downtime and maintaining accurate records and tracking systems.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as SOPs, checklists, calibration logs, and support compliance with GMP, safety standards, and audit requirements.
• Promote safety and continuous improvement by following EHS guidelines, identifying opportunities for optimization, and participating in CAPA and risk assessments.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 2–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or regulated industries.
• Hands-on experience with AHUs, HVAC, electrical systems, DG sets, compressed air, ETP & STP and water systems.
• Practical exposure to DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ and GMP documentation.
• Experience in Pharma industry is mandatory.

Pay: ₹211,000.00 - ₹494,000.00 per year
