London Projects Ltd is a specialist main contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional quality on super-prime residential refurbishment projects across central London. Since 2005, we have worked on some of the finest homes in Belgravia, Knightsbridge, Mayfair, Kensington, and Chelsea.

We are now looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our growing in-house team. This is a great opportunity to work on prestigious high-end residential properties with a company known for uncompromising standards and quality.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical building services across our completed super-prime residential projects and live sites. You’ll ensure all systems operate efficiently while maintaining the exceptional standards our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on mechanical systems, including boilers, pumps, HVAC, pipework, and associated plant
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults on mechanical installations and BMS systems
• Perform minor mechanical installation, modification, and upgrade works
• Complete all works to the highest standards in full compliance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate digital service records and provide clear reporting to clients
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, residents, and project teams

Requirements

• Solid experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in commercial or high-end residential building services
• Strong practical knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and mechanical systems
• Commercial Gas Safe registration is highly advantageous (current commercial gas qualification preferred)
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Plumbing or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Proactive attitude with excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while representing a quality-focused main contractor
