Maintenance Engineer Offset Printing

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for offset printing machines (e.g., Heidelberg, Komori).
• Diagnose and resolve Electronics, electrical, and pneumatic faults in printing equipment.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service records, and spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
• Conduct routine inspections and calibrations to maintain print quality and machine efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company protocols.
• Provide technical support during machine installation, upgrades, or relocation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in offset printing machine maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with sheet-fed and web offset presses.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC-based systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with Heidelberg, Mitsubishi, or Komori presses.
• Familiarity with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices.
• Exposure to ISO quality systems and lean manufacturing environments.
