Job Title: Maintenance Engineer – Production & Packaging

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to manage, maintain and troubleshoot production and packaging machinery. The role requires strong shop-floor presence, quick problem-solving and proactive involvement in keeping production and packing lines running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot:
• Mixers, Blenders, pulverisers, hammer mills
• Semi-automatic and fully automatic packing machines
• Attend and resolve machine breakdowns with minimum downtime
• Implement preventive maintenance and reduce recurring failures
• Identify and solve bottlenecks in production and packing cycles
• Coordinate with operators, technicians, and vendors
• Train operators on correct machine handling and basic upkeep
• Ensure machine safety, hygiene, and smooth shift operations
• Calibration of equipment on time
• Maintaining all documents and records related to maintenance department

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
• 3–7 years experience in FMCG / food processing / packaging plants
• Technical Knowledge: FSSAI standards, GMP, HACCP, basic food safety norms.
• Documentation: Good reporting and record-keeping skills.
• Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve minor equipment issues.

Work Environment & Conditions

• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills (not desk-based)
• Practical knowledge of motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatics
• Comfortable working with blue-collar and white-collar teams
• Factory floor environment with exposure to dust and spice aromas.
• Shift-based work (Day shift -2 shifts) with extended standing and close interaction with machinery and equipment.
• Must maintain a safe, hygienic, and efficient production environment.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹70,000.00 per month
