Position Overview


Pacha New York seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance & Facilities Manager to oversee all building systems, preventive maintenance programmes, and facilities operations for a high-volume, large-scale entertainment venue in New York City.


This role is responsible for ensuring the venue operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with New York City and State regulations. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership capability, budget management experience, and a proactive approach to asset protection. You will play a critical role in maintaining infrastructure, supporting live events, managing contractors, and ensuring an exceptional and safe environment for guests and staff.


Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee all building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, lighting, and fire/life safety infrastructure.
  • Implement and manage a robust preventive maintenance programme to ensure operational readiness, particularly during live events and peak trading periods.
  • Ensure full compliance with NYC building codes, FDNY, DOB, and OSHA regulations, maintaining all permits, certifications, and inspection records.
  • Lead emergency preparedness planning and act as the primary facilities contact during incidents or major events.
  • Develop and manage the facilities budget, monitor utilities, control costs, and oversee capital improvement projects.
  • Manage external contractors and service providers, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory adherence.
  • Lead and schedule the maintenance team in line with event programming and operational demands.
  • Maintain a strong on-site presence during major events to provide real-time technical support and infrastructure oversight.


Qualifications


  • 5+ years’ experience in facilities or maintenance management within a large-scale venue, hotel, entertainment space, or high-volume commercial property.
  • Strong working knowledge of NYC building codes, FDNY, DOB, and OSHA regulations.
  • Technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
  • Experience managing large-capacity venues (1,000+ guests preferred).
  • Proven budget management and contractor oversight experience.
  • Strong leadership and crisis management capability.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in line with event schedules.

Salary Range:
USD 90,000 – 105,000 per year (Final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity)
