Maintenance Fitter

Job Title: Maintenance Fitter- No Bake Foundry

Location: Dhulagarh, Howrah
Reporting To: Maintenance In-Charge

Job Summary:

Responsible for daily mechanical maintenance of ACR furnace, No-Bake Moulding Line,

Key Responsibilities:

• Sand conveying system
• Cooling system checks
• Furnace lining inspection
• Hydraulic system maintenance
• Mixer assembly maintenance
• Sand conveying system
• Knockout area mechanical adjustments
• Belt conveyors, gearboxes & bearings
• Assist in breakdown maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Conduct daily inspection rounds and report abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Replace worn-out parts, mechanical seals, couplings, belts, rollers etc.
• Maintain proper tools & ensure workplace safety.

Qualification & Experience:

• Qualification: ITI /Dip in Mechanical
• Experience: 2–5 years (Foundry preferred)

Skills Required:

• Mechanical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of furnace operations
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic & pneumatic systems
• Ability to read mechanical drawings
• Hands-on experience in conveyors, mixers & gearboxes

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
