- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment
- Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs on machinery, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, and motors
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and schematics
- Install, align, and commission mechanical equipment
- Carry out welding, cutting, grinding, and fitting tasks as required
- Replace worn or damaged components and ensure correct tolerances
- Ensure equipment complies with safety, quality, and operational standards
- Record maintenance activities and report recurring faults
- Work collaboratively with electricians, operators, and supervisors
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the workshop and plant areas

- Valid certifications (e.g., confined space, working at heights – desirable)
