Job Description: Maintenance Fitter

The Maintenance Fitter is responsible for performing mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installation tasks on plant machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical faults, carrying out preventative maintenance, and supporting production to minimise downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical maintenance, repairs, and servicing on machinery and equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks according to schedules.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults, breakdowns, and wear.
• Install, align, and commission new mechanical equipment and components.
• Fabricate, weld, and machine components where required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment condition.
• Adhere to safety procedures, lock-out/tag-out, and company policies.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

Job Description: Maintenance Electrician

The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for electrical maintenance, repairs, and installation of industrial electrical systems and machinery. The role ensures equipment reliability, safety, and compliance with electrical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery and plant equipment.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections as per maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose electrical faults involving motors, control circuits, PLCs, sensors, and power distribution.
• Install, test, and commission electrical systems and equipment.
• Maintain electrical documentation and update wiring diagrams as required.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety policies.
• Assist in continuous improvement projects related to automation and electrical systems.
• Support production teams in resolving electrical breakdowns quickly and safely.
