Maintenance Flex Technician

Job Duties:

• Perform services on teams for lawn care, mowing, and landscape maintenance.
• Operates a variety of equipment and tools including lawn mowers, trimmers, fertilizer carts, blowers, bed edgers, dump trailers, chainsaws, and hedge trimmers.
• Conduct all work in a safe manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Rotates between different crews as needs arise; must be comfortable with daily change.

Works closely with: lawn maintenance, mowing and fert teams, supply yard team, mechanic

Direct reports: 0

Typical Hours: Mon-Fri, 6:30am-5:00pm, some weekends

Dress Code: uniform

Desired Experience and Education:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a landscaping crew member role.
• Strong base horticulture knowledge.
• Knowledge in most residential irrigation systems preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance and physically have full range of motion in upper and lower body.
• Nebraska Pesticide Applicators License is a plus.
• Must possess a driver’s license, clean criminal record and have ability to pass a drug test.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
• Must be comfortable working long shifts and weekends when necessary.

The technician’s main objective is to maintain residential and commercial properties while maintaining a safe work environment. Flex team members display a variety of skills as they fill open spots on crews for the maintenance division. You must possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
