Position Summary:
The Maintenance Group Lead will oversee day-to-day activities of the maintenance team, ensuring equipment uptime, safety, and reliability within our injection molding facility. This is a working leadership role that combines technical expertise with team coordination to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate daily maintenance activities and delegate tasks based on priority and technician skill sets.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain injection molding machines, automation systems, and facility equipment.
- Monitor and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance tasks, work orders, and equipment history.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety policies.
- Provide technical support for projects, equipment upgrades, and new equipment installations.

- Qualifications:

5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with plastic injection molding.
- 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with PLCs, automation systems, and robotic equipment (e.g., Fanuc, Yushin) is a plus.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to be hands-on and lead by example.
