Job Title: Maintenance Head – Equipment & Crusher Plant

Reporting To: Plant Head / Director – Operations

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Head will be responsible for complete maintenance of crusher plant machinery, heavy earthmoving equipment, and plant utilities. The role ensures smooth plant operations with minimum downtime, proper preventive maintenance, cost control, and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Crusher Plant Maintenance

• Oversee maintenance of Jaw Crusher, Cone Crusher, VSI, Screens, Conveyors, Feeders, and Vibrators.
• Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of crusher units.
• Monitor wear parts (jaw plates, liners, blow bars, bearings, belts).
• Maintain proper lubrication and alignment schedules.
• Ensure maximum plant availability and production efficiency.

2. Heavy Equipment Maintenance

• Maintain and monitor Excavators, Loaders, Dumpers, Poclain, JCB, Hydra, and Tippers.
• Plan preventive maintenance schedules for heavy earthmoving equipment.
• Coordinate engine overhauling and hydraulic system repairs.
• Maintain equipment history and service records.

3. Electrical & Mechanical Systems

• Supervise maintenance of motors, panels, transformers, and DG sets.
• Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns in crusher circuits.
• Ensure proper functioning of control panels and automation systems.

4. Spare Parts & Inventory Management

• Maintain critical spare parts inventory.
• Control maintenance cost and optimize spare consumption.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement and AMC contracts.

5. Team Management

• Lead maintenance engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor team performance.
• Conduct safety briefings and technical training.

6. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with mining and plant safety regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and machine inspection.
• Implement safety SOPs and emergency response procedures.

7. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily/weekly maintenance reports.
• Maintain breakdown analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Present maintenance KPIs to management.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of Crusher Plant Operations.
• Mechanical & Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Hydraulic system knowledge.
• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance planning.
• Team handling & leadership.
• Budget control & cost optimization.
• Knowledge of TPM & safety standards.

Qualification:

• B.E / B.Tech / Diploma – Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
• Electrical Engineering (Optional but beneficial)

Experience:

• 12+ years in crusher plant / mining equipment maintenance.
• Minimum 4–5 years in leadership role.

Preferred Industry:

• Mining / Stone Crusher / Aggregates / Infrastructure / RMC / Cement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
