Position: Maintenance In-Charge

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance In-Charge to lead and oversee all maintenance activities in our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, electrical equipment, and electronic controls, ensuring seamless plant operations, minimal downtime, and adherence to safety & compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance of all plant machinery, utilities, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, spares consumption, and equipment performance.
2. Mechanical Maintenance
- Ensure smooth functioning of mechanical equipment such as conveyors, pumps, compressors, motors, and gearboxes.
- Oversee repair/replacement of machine parts, bearings, seals, and alignments.
- Optimize machine performance through periodic inspections and upgrades.
3. Electrical & Electronics Maintenance
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical distribution systems, panels, and wiring.
- Oversee PLCs, automation systems, sensors, and electronic control devices.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical drives, VFDs, and instrumentation systems.
4. Team Management
- Lead a team of technicians and allocate tasks based on priority.
- Train and mentor team members for skill enhancement in mechanical, electrical, and electronic maintenance.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams for smooth operations.
5. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits of equipment safety, energy consumption, and fire protection systems.
- Implement energy-saving and cost-reduction initiatives.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance, electrical systems, and industrial electronics.
- Hands-on experience with PLC, automation systems, and preventive maintenance software.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of ISO, TPM, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing practices preferred.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
- 7–8 years of relevant experience in maintenance within a Manufacturing Unit.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
