Position Overview

We’re seeking a practical, team-focused Maintenance Manager to oversee plant maintenance at a fast-paced food and beverage production facility. You’ll coordinate repairs, lead the maintenance crew, manage schedules, and make sure equipment and building systems stay in good working order. This is a great role for someone who enjoys solving problems and keeping operations running reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance technicians and assign daily tasks
• Create weekly maintenance plans and track completion
• Inspect equipment and facility areas regularly
• Handle repairs, installations, and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain tools, parts, and equipment needed for repairs
• Ensure accurate logs, reports, and maintenance records
• Communicate with production to schedule work and minimize downtime
• Support safety guidelines and help enforce safe work habits
• Work with outside vendors and contractors when required
• Keep maintenance spaces organized and properly stocked
• Respond quickly to maintenance issues across the plant
• Train and guide team members on best practices
• Assist with managing maintenance costs and budgets

Managerial Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and develop maintenance staff
• Conduct performance reviews and manage work assignments

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical schooling helpful
• Prior experience leading a maintenance team in manufacturing
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, or facility systems
• Ability to diagnose equipment issues and coordinate repairs
• Good communication, organization, and leadership abilities
• Comfortable working in a food/beverage production setting
