Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Department: Engineering / Maintenance
Reports To: General Manager / Director of Operations
Supervises: Maintenance Technicians, Electricians, Plumbers, HVAC Technicians

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the upkeep and repair of all hotel facilities, systems, and equipment. This includes managing a team of technicians, coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, handling emergency repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for the property.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff and contractors.
• Ensure efficient operation of hotel systems (VCR, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevators, etc.).
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues, guest complaints, and system failures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, checklists, and compliance documentation.
• Develop budgets and control costs for maintenance activities.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and government regulations.
• Work closely with other departments to support their operational needs.
• Manage procurement and inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• 1+ years of experience in hotel or facility maintenance, including supervisory experience.
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance.
• Problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage budgets and maintenance software/systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
