Maintenance Manager (Plant & Garage)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of plant machinery and garage equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in plant operations, and the ability to manage maintenance schedules, repairs, and staff effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise maintenance activities for plant machinery and garage equipment
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
• Lead and train a team of technicians and maintenance staff
• Oversee the repair and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ensure all machinery and equipment meet safety and performance standards
• Monitor inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and equipment status
• Implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruptions to plant operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
• Proven experience in plant maintenance or similar management role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Knowledge of plant machinery, mechanical systems, and garage equipment
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems and inventory management
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with safety regulations and standards in plant operations
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
