Maintenance Manager - (Poultry or protein Processing Industry)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager with a strong background in the poultry or protein processing industry to lead and mentor our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience (more preferred) and a proven track record managing staff, both directly and indirectly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a maintenance team of 2 direct reports and 87 indirect reports.
• Fully understand and apply master-level mechanical theory and practical skills.
• Mentor, train, and support maintenance staff on the plant floor.
• Perform advanced maintenance tasks including welding, pneumatics, wiring, motor controls, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Ensure all maintenance activities align with safety and quality standards.
• Observe operations to identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance management, preferably in poultry or protein processing.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Advanced general maintenance skills including welding, pneumatics, wiring, motor controls, and PLCs.
• Ability and willingness to be hands-on on the plant floor, teaching and mentoring team members.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
