Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Wyndham Flagstaff Resort

Schedule: Full-Time days, evenings, weekends, holidays

Salary: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00|Exempt Salaried Position

Work Environment: On-site (Not remote)

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, planning, organization, and daily operations of the Maintenance Department. This role ensures the resort is maintained in a safe, clean, and fully operational condition while delivering exceptional service to guests and team members.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all day-to-day maintenance operations of the resort
• Ensure proper operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool/spa systems, and mechanical equipment
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, ADA, fire codes, and all applicable regulations
• Manage hazardous materials, including SDS documentation, training, storage, and disposal
• Supervise, train, coach, and develop maintenance team members
• Foster a positive and engaging work environment aligned with Wyndham’s standards and values
• Provide clear direction, performance management, and disciplinary action when necessary
• Communicate expectations clearly

Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with CPO, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ADA, and fire safety regulations
• Skilled in power tools, engineering equipment, and mechanical systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Certifications (Preferred)

• Certified Pool Operator (CPO), HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing certifications
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• OSHA Certification
• EPA Certification

Additional Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Valid driver’s license required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience in a hotel, resort, or related field

· Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience
