Maintenance Manager. SWRO Jafurah

Cox O&M is looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance operations at the Jafurah Desalination Plant.

Reporting to the Plant Director, this role is responsible for planning, supervising, and managing all preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities , ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency of the plant’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Manage the CMMS program, including planning, execution, and performance analysis.
• Oversee inventory management of spare parts and consumables, ensuring availability and cost control.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for major repairs and specialized services.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCFA) and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation, calibration records, and maintenance reports.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams: mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & control technicians, and operators.
• Monitor key maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability, and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Industrial, or related).
• Fluent English (C1 or higher) is mandatory; Arabic is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in water treatment or desalination plants.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems: centrifugal pumps, valves, hydraulic systems.
• Strong expertise in instrumentation and control: calibration, verification, sensors, PLCs, SCADA.
• Proficient in CMMS and asset management tools.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in multicultural and demanding environments.
• IQAMA transferible is a plus
