Overview

A Mechanical Maintenance Technician ensures machinery and mechanical systems run smoothly. They perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot and fix issues, and replace faulty parts. The role involves teamwork, attention to detail, and following safety standards to keep operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and mechanical systems to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Inspect machines and components for wear, damage, or potential problems, and take the necessary action.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and repair or replace faulty parts to maintain reliable operation.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks such as lubrication, alignment, calibration, and basic cleaning.
• Assist in installing, assembling, and setting up new mechanical equipment when needed.
• Keep clear and accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
• Ensure spare parts are available and maintain an organized inventory for efficient maintenance work.
• Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and production staff to support smooth operations.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards in all maintenance and repair activities.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance
• Language Skills: Good command of English (spoken and written)
