Position : Maintenance Mechanic I

Location: Wheatland-Chili Central School District

Requirements: -Graduation from high school or equivalent diploma

• At least 3 years of full time experience within a mechanical, skilled, or construction trade
  
  

Responsibilities: -Perform work orders independently focused on construction or mechanical trades

• Install, maintains, repairs, and rebuilds sewer and municipal water systems, and plumbing systems
• Performs steam fitting, forging, welding, sheet metal fabrication, or machine shop activities
• Assemble, install, and repair furniture, ceilings, carpets, fixtures, roofs, plumbing, and HVAC areas
• Perform custodial work as needed such as: sweeping, mopping, taking out garbages, and general cleaning of building and grounds
• Maintain and repair equipment as needed
• Perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles as needed
  
  

Compensation: Competitive, Based on years of experience
