Shift: 1st and 2nd Shift

1st shift 6:00am-2:00pm

2nd shift 2:00pm-10:00pm

Schedule: Monday – Sunday

About the Opportunity

The Rux Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic II to join a well-established industrial bakery in the Atlanta / Doraville area.
This is a direct hire opportunity — not a temporary or contract position. You’ll be joining a fast-paced food production team focused on safety, quality, and reliability.

All candidates will complete training on 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) for the first month before transitioning to their assigned shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on bakery equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain and service mixers, conveyors, proofers, ovens, and packaging machinery.
• Conduct inspections and complete maintenance logs accurately.
• Assist with machinery installations, upgrades, and continuous improvements.
• Follow all OSHA and food safety (GMP/HACCP) standards.
• Communicate effectively with production and leadership teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience (preferably in a food manufacturing or bakery environment).
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills.
Reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to work overtime or weekends as needed.
High school diploma or technical certification required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
