Maintenance Mechanic with Boiler Experience (Part Time or Full Time)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking individual that has experience with low pressure steam boiler maintenance as well as a maintenance mechanic to support daily operations at our ice cream manufacturing plant. This role is essential to keeping products moving efficiently and safely through our facility. The ideal candidate is organized, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair a steam boiler system (low-pressure) that's in use in our facility to support ice cream production systems.
• Troubleshoot boiler system issues using schematics and technical manuals
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal boiler performance and safety compliance
• Monitor system parameters and make adjustments to maintain efficiency
• Diagnose mechanical failures related to hydraulics, HVAC/R, and other mechanical components
• Document all maintenance activities accurately in accordance with company procedures
• Collaborate with maintenance team members to resolve complex issues
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards during all operations
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system status and maintenance needs

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance and boiler systems
• Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams
• Knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and general industrial mechanics
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused approach
• Familiarity with safety protocols related to industrial equipment operation and maintenance
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
