We are currently looking for a Maintenance Method Engineer to join our Balıkesir Factory team.

Location: Balıkesir

Type of contract: Permanent

As a Maintenance Method Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities;

  • Guarantee process and equipment safety for people, products, and the environment. Ensure compliance with local regulations, insurance, and Nestlé standards.
  • Lead change management for maintenance modifications and ensure proper application of market and local legislation, standards, and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement the site maintenance strategy using NCE (Nestlé Continuous Excellence) tools, ensuring alignment with both short- and long-term business objectives.
  • Create and manage maintenance work schedules, ensuring timely completion of planned and backlog work with available resources.
  • Monitor quality of entries, provide training, and generate reports for performance tracking.
  • Drive and implement improvement projects, leveraging NCE/TPM (Total Performance Management) methodologies to reduce unplanned stoppages and chronic issues.
  • Provide input for annual maintenance budgets, monitor spending, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead or coach teams in systematic problem solving to eliminate safety risks, quality defects, and recurring technical problems.
  • Build, coach, and develop maintenance teams to enhance technical capabilities and overall performance.
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and corporate resources to ensure alignment with OMP(Operational Master Plan), factory, and market-level strategies.
  • Actively share knowledge and best practices across factories and within the M&I(Maintenance and Inspection) community.
  • Promote TPM/NCE/M&I strategies and ensure clear communication of maintenance objectives to factory personnel.

Which profile are we looking for?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related field, with at least 3 years in maintenance/engineering
  • Strong knowledge of factory systems, machinery, and utilities, including mechanical, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, and E&A (Electronic & Automation) systems.
  • Proven skills in preventive/predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, asset management, and managing third-party services.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations, industrial compliance, local statutory requirements, and Nestlé standards.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in SAP time management, and application of NCE methodologies.
