About The Role
MacKillop Family Services is seeking a skilled and proactiveMaintenance Officerto join our Property Team within the Corporate Services Unit. Based in Blacktown NSW, this hands-on role is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, repairs, and maintenance of our residential and commercial properties across the Metro Sydney portfolio.
Reporting to the Property Coordinator NSW, you will carry out routine maintenance tasks, minor repairs, and support broader property operations. This role is ideal for someone with a trade background and practical experience in building maintenance, particularly inplastering and painting.
About You
You're a hands-on problem solver with a strong trade background and a passion for keeping spaces safe, functional, and looking their best. You take pride in your work, whether it's patching and painting a wall or troubleshooting a maintenance issue on the fly. You're confident working independently, but you also thrive as part of a team that values collaboration and community impact.
You're organised, reliable, and ready to roll up your sleeves-whether it's managing your own tasks or supporting others to get the job done. Most importantly, you're motivated by purpose and want your skills to make a difference in the lives of children, young people, and families.
This is a Permanent Full Time opportunity based in Blacktown NSW within our Residential Care Program. The position reports to the Property Coordinator.
