Maintenance Parts Specialist

• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers

• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor and or maintenance coordinator on upcoming work orders and parts needed for a project

• Maintain and manage inventory of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies

• Issue parts to maintenance technicians and track usage accurately

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming parts and materials

• Ensure critical spare parts are stocked to support preventive and corrective maintenance

• Create and process/close purchase orders and follow up on purchases

• Ability to use maintenance software

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Perform other duties as may be assigned at manager’s discretion
• Good eye for detail is required

• Successfully manage multiple assignments through effective prioritization and time management

• Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial, or facilities maintenance environment preferred

• Understanding of preventative maintenance programs

• Forklift or material-handling certification

• Must have a valid driver's license

• Strong organizational and documentation skills

• Basic computer skills

• Able to lift, push, pull, bend, stoop, use a ladder, and stand for an entire shift

The Parts Specialist Position is responsible for managing, sourcing, and issuing parts to support maintenance activities. This role ensures the availability of critical spare parts, maintains accurate inventory records, and works closely with maintenance technicians, vendors, procurement to minimize equipment downtime, and assisting others when needed.
