Maintenance Planner
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment by developing comprehensive maintenance schedules, coordinating activities, and managing our maintenance management system. The ideal candidate will work closely with production and maintenance teams to optimize operational uptime and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed work plans for preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including step-by-step procedures, safety protocols, and time estimates to ensure effective and efficient task completion.

Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, including planned downtime and maintenance projects, to minimize impact on production schedules.

Manage the site’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, work orders, and schedules.

Estimate labor and material costs for maintenance projects and work orders to support budgeting and resource allocation.

Act as the liaison between production and maintenance teams to facilitate communication, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth operations.

Create, update, and optimize preventive maintenance (PM) plans, work orders, and schedules within the CMMS.

Coordinate with maintenance technicians and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and adherence to safety standards.

Monitor maintenance performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.
Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or a related role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems, preferably SAP or similar CMMS software.

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate between production and maintenance teams.

Ability to develop detailed work procedures and safety protocols.

Basic understanding of maintenance and repair techniques for industrial equipment.

Analytical skills to estimate costs and evaluate maintenance performance.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance planning or related field is preferred.
