Job Title: Maintenance Planning Engineer Instrumentation
Job Purpose
Responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating all maintenance activities to ensure efficient execution, maximum equipment reliability, and optimized use of manpower, materials, and services in line with HSEQ and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
- Prepare detailed job plans, work packs, time estimates, and resource requirements.
- Ensure “right-first-time” execution through effective planning and coordination.
- Forecast maintenance activities and optimize execution timelines and costs.
2. SAP / CMMS Operations
- Manage maintenance activities using SAP S/4HANA (EAM module).
- Handle work order planning, notifications, service orders, PRs, and service entry sheets.
- Maintain and update master data, BOMs, and equipment records.
- Ensure accurate record keeping in CMMS systems.
3. Materials & Spare Parts Management
- Coordinate with supply chain and end-users for timely availability of spares.
- Monitor inventory levels, buffer stock, and critical spare requirements.
- Support procurement processes and vendor coordination.
4. Contract & Vendor Coordination
- Support contract management, scope definition, and technical evaluation.
- Coordinate daily with contractors for manpower and service execution.
- Verify contractor invoices and service completion reports.
5. Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Prepare maintenance progress reports and KPI dashboards.
- Support budgeting and annual maintenance planning.
- Provide cost and resource optimization inputs to management.
6. HSEQ Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, PTW systems, and Life Saving Rules.
- Comply with all company HSEQ, environmental, and operational standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Fertilizer industry
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA (EAM / Maintenance module)
- Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and job execution support
