Job Summary:

• Responsible for all mechanical work and repairs of the building, including fire alarm system, fire fighting equipment, boilers, electrical system, plumbing system, refrigeration system, dietary equipment, painting, carpentry, or interior and exterior structure of the building and landscaping of the grounds, snow removal including plowing and sanding.
• Handle, operate, utilize and manipulate instruments including but not limited to power tools, shovels, snow blower, chemicals, etc.
• Must be available at all times for any plant emergency that may occur. Carries a cell phone for 24 hour accessibility.
• Responsible for all inspections of the physical plant by various agencies.
• Supervises sanitation of all resident and public areas of the facility.
• Supervises the maintenance and care of all facility owned equipment and motors.
• Supervises all repair work and contracted outside service when necessary.
• Responsible for evaluating productivity, work efficiency, and proficiency of related areas.
