KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Candidate must possess, or have the ability to obtain, a Class 6 Waterworks Operator license or Master Plumber license, as well as backflow certification. Candidate must possess thorough knowledge and ability to master all job requirements and perform all trade skills needed as a plumber, while serving as lead plumber on larger jobs. The ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks, work well independently or with others, and the ability to accomplish repairs and alterations using either verbal or written (blue print) instructions is required. Candidate must coordinate and prioritize work activities, handle complaints, express a service-oriented attitude, communicate effectively, and work with limited supervision.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited high school or General Education Certificate (GED) is required. Relevant work experience is preferred.
