The Thousand Hills Resort Hotel, located in beautiful Branson, Missouri, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Property Care team. This role is essential in ensuring the resort’s facilities and grounds are well-maintained, safe, and welcoming for our guests.

Position Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the hotel property, including guest rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces. You will work closely with the property management team to address maintenance requests promptly and maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the resort.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting repairs.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify issues and implement timely repairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all property areas, including landscaping and exterior maintenance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces and other hotel functions as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies.
• Follow all safety protocols and comply with local building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, property care, or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
