Maintenance Specialist/Mechanic
Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Maintenance Specialist. The Maintenance Specialist performs maintenance duties on equipment in an industrial setting. The Maintenance Specialist will also participate in general maintenance duties from time to time, as assigned by the supervisor.
SCHEDULE:
- Full Time
- Monday - Friday (On call after hours)
- 7am - 4:30 pm
PAY RATE: $25.00 per hour
Weekly Pay
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect spaces daily to identify problems with, mechanical failure, or breakdowns
- Respond to requests for maintenance services on company equipment
- Change lights/ parts
- Perform small electrical and plumbing tasks
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
- High school diploma or equivalent education/technical certification
- Must possess professional experience and/or education in one or more of the following:
- Small Engine repair
- Auto Mechanics
- Janitorial Equipment Mechanics
- Attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of auto mechanics
- Basic skills in mechanical repair and routine facility maintenance
- Ability to use common tools such as hammers, screwdrivers/drills, and wrenches
- Time management skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
- Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
- Degree from a technical college
