Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Staff member to join our team of passionate outdoor enthusiasts. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment across various park areas, including common areas, campsites, and general facilities maintenance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills and leadership abilities in a fast-paced setting, contributing directly to the overall success of our property.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and building infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Operate tools and equipment such as welders, ohmmeters, schematics, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and resolve technical problems.
  • Conduct residential painting projects and oversee small-scale welding tasks as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards are strictly followed.
  • Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to facilitate repairs and installations.
  • Lead or support team members in safety procedures, troubleshooting efforts, and maintenance tasks with a focus on customer service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a strong mechanical background.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, PLC programming, welding techniques, and the use of tools such as ohmmeters.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination.
  • Hands-on experience with CMMS software for tracking work orders and maintenance history.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols related to electrical work, welding, painting, and general facilities upkeep.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Pay: $23.00 per hour
