Maintenance Stock Controller

Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Stock Controller to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will oversee inventory management, ensure accurate stock levels, and facilitate smooth warehouse operations. Your expertise will help optimize storage, streamline order fulfillment, and support the overall efficiency of our distribution processes. Duties

• Responsible for stock reliability and inventory control
• Evaluating vendors and suppliers’ offers and negotiating profitable purchase prices.
• Placing orders pre-approved by the manager and receiving orders to replenish stocks as needed.
• Enter purchase details (vendors information, invoices, and pricing) into internal databases
• Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS) using SAP MRP tools.
• Tracking shipments and coordinating internal stock transfers, as well as resolving delays.
• Performing regular inventory audits and keeping stock purchasing within budget.
• Responsibility for creating and sharing reports on product availability, quality, and inventory accuracy
• Communicate with buyers and flag potential issues with suppliers and the quality and quantity of products
• Collaborate to determine when products are missing from deliveries and contact vendors regarding damaged product

Requirements

• Experienced in Manufacturing environment, preferably
• Basic knowledge in purchasing.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety practices
• Basic knowledge of industrial equipment
• Practical skills / technical specifications
• SAP System (plus)
• Critical and logical thinking ability
• Team working
• Problem-solving skills
• Interpersonal communication skills

Pay: $20.00 per hour
