Maintenance Supervisor

Job Purpose

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform a broad range of maintenance and repair activities to ensure the warehouse can operate effectively and efficiently. Maintain a professional culture on site and a commitment to Health & Safety, in line with company values.

Key Result Areas Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Ensure all equipment is used and maintained in line with supplier’s guidelines. This will include conveyors, cranes, cooling systems, fire protection, freeze doors, oxygen reduction and other installations.

• Create and plan Preventative Maintenance tasks or repairs to be carried out in a timely and safe manner, minimizing disruption to the operation.

• Working within budgeted guidelines, and achieving agreed KPIs

• Follow maintenance plan in the most efficient way to ensure minimal impact on the operation, but in a routine which achieves supplier guidelines as a minimum.

• Direct and lead sanitation team to maintain site cleanliness and appearance.

• Ensure that all work is completed in a safe and timely manner.

• Work closely with equipment suppliers and /or contractors to ensure proper training of maintenance technicians.

• Complete agreed internal reporting and communication as required by Site manager.

• Develop a understanding of all equipment and contracts on site including cooling systems, oxygen reduction, dock doors etc.

• Commit to ongoing self and team development through internal and external resources.

• Meet the physical demands of the Maintenance and Operator team roles.
