Maintenance Supervisor

Job Responsibilities – Fabrication Maintenance Supervisor

• Maintenance Planning & Execution
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plans for fabrication machines (e.g., bending, shearing, welding, punching, VMC, laser, plasma).
• Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance is carried out as per schedule.
• Maintain machine history records and logbooks.
• Machine Troubleshooting
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.
• Coordinate repair work promptly to reduce machine downtime.
• Perform root cause analysis for repeated breakdowns and take corrective actions.
• Team Supervision
• Assign tasks to maintenance technicians and monitor their performance.
• Guide and train technicians on proper maintenance procedures and safety practices.
• Conduct toolbox talks and maintenance meetings.
• Spare Parts & Inventory Management
• Identify required spare parts, tools, and consumables.
• Maintain minimum stock levels and raise purchase requisitions.
• Ensure parts are stored correctly and records are updated.
• Safety & Compliance
• Ensure all maintenance work is performed following safety standards.
• Check safety guards, interlocks, and emergency systems regularly.
• Ensure workers use PPE and follow lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
• Equipment Installation & Commissioning
• Support installation of new fabrication machines and equipment.
• Work with vendors and service engineers for commissioning and calibration.
• Verify machine performance before handing over for production use.
• Coordination & Reporting
• Qualification: -Diploma/B.tech in Mechanical
• Experience: -2-5 years
• Location: -Nearby Dera Bassi or ready for relocation
• Joining: -Immediate prefer
• Salary: -15K-25K as per the knowledge

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
