Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Maintenance Supervisor located in Carnesville, GA. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee property maintenance operations, including handling work orders, conducting preventive maintenance, and managing maintenance staff. The individual will perform inspections, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role requires efficient communication with residents and team members, as well as a focus on maintaining the quality and appearance of the property.


Qualifications

  • Expertise in general maintenance fields including plumbing, HVAC systems, electrical systems, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
  • Experience in managing and supervising a team of maintenance personnel, including scheduling and delegating tasks.
  • Strong skills in inspecting properties, identifying maintenance needs, and efficiently executing repairs or improvements.
  • Understanding of safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and documentation procedures.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with residents, team members, and external vendors.
  • Ability to meticulously organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in residential property maintenance and familiarity with housing programs such as HUD and LIHTC is advantageous.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical training (e.g., HVAC certification) are preferred.
