Maintenance Supervisor - Crusher Plant - Mechanical

Educational Qualification: B.E. Mechanical Engineering / M.tech in maintenance engineering or experience in a related field

Knowledge:

1. Working knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and power transmission systems.

2. Basic knowledge of electrical panels, motor controls, and generator maintenance.

3. Understanding of lubrication systems, bearing replacement, and shaft alignment.

4. Familiarity with welding, fabrication, and structural repairs.

Skills:

1. Hands-on skill in preventive maintenance and breakdown handling.

2. Ability to perform root cause analysis for recurring mechanical faults.

3. Basic understanding of safety practices in operations.

4. Strong Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Experience:

· 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in maintenance.

Experience in maintaining heavy earthmoving machinery like excavators, loaders, and dumpers (JCB, CAT, Volvo, etc.).

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of Crusher Plants, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally.

· Coordinate with service teams and vendors for timely repairs, replacement and troubleshooting of equipment failures.

· Provide guidance, training and development opportunities for staff to improve operational skills and safety standards.

· Maintain proper documentation of operations, maintenance logs and inventory management.

· Evaluate new technologies and practices for improving operational efficiency and system performance.

· MIS and daily generation report

· Procurement planning for smooth function of the plant.

· Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of equipment and machinery.

· Troubleshoot and diagnose problems and develop and execute maintenance plans to minimize downtime and disruptions.

· Analyse data to identify trends, diagnose problems and develop solutions to improve equipment reliability and performance.

· Collaborate with production teams, management and suppliers to develop and execute maintenance plans that meet organizational goals and priorities.

· Ensure that those conducting maintenance activities are in compliance with safety standards and regulations and identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.

· Develop and maintain technical documentation, schematics and procedures to support maintenance activities.

· Responsible for minimizing breakdowns by fixing targets on annual basis.

· Responsible for ensuring effective practice of PM/AM/CBM.

· Release monthly operation reports (Maintenance)

· Statutory compliance adherence

· Responsible for ensuring that the facilities, layout and machinery used to produce new and existing materials and goods run to their maximum efficiency and output.

· Responsible for Maintenance expense control.

· Control & monitor the performance of machinery using Machine History Card, Breakdown Maintenance Card, MTTR, MTBF.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
