Maintenance Team Member

Job Summary: We are seeking a maintenance worker to join our team at RV Midland. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. They should also possess good communication skills and be able to prioritize tasks effectively. Please note that this is a physically demanding role that may require lifting heavy objects, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and operating machinery. We offer site discounts for RVers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of park facilities, equipment, and grounds to identify areas in need of maintenance or repair.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks, such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and HVAC system maintenance.
• Assist in the upkeep of the grounds, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and removing debris.
• Respond to guest requests for maintenance and repair services in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure that all park facilities are clean and well-maintained, including restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and common areas.
• Be diligent about the safety and operations of the park and ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Follow checklists and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work completed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years prior experience in maintenance and repair work, particularly in an RV park or similar setting, strongly preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements:

• Physical ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds regularly.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch and climb.
• Able to work outdoors frequently and in various climates.
• Capable of moving safely over uneven terrain.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
