Maintenance Tech

Qualifications or Skills:

• Ability to differentiate colors
• Knowledge of motors, exhaust, high & low voltage electricity.
• Mechanical Skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
• Ability to speak, read & write in English
• Ability to follow work instructions, and 5S standards.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given in a timely manner.
• Must be able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• High school diploma or GED, Some Technical training in Maintenance preferred

Job Duties:

• Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the production floor and the entire facility to minimize downtime.
• Detects and reports defective machinery or questionable conditions to the department supervisor and designs plans to prioritize tasks.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery building or grounds as required and prioritizes tasks and is held accountable for completion.
• Can effectively communicate all the above tasks to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Performs a daily walk thru to keep up with facility needs.
• Required to be knowledgeable with:

General Safety Lock-out Tag-out SDS Forklift Safety

Confined Space Required permits HAZMAT Fabrication

Washer Maintenance Preventable Maintenance Pipe Fitting Welding

• PPE must be worn
• Ensuring customer requirements are being met
• Responsible for 5S in Work Area
• Employee must adhere to all 5S and safety rules
• Required participation in semi-annual work reviews
• Employee must adhere to all ISO/IATF procedures and work instructions
• Perform All other Assigned Duties
